Generic Proscar (Finasteride) must be taken regularly

for prostate cancer. While Finasteride in lower doses can treat BPH, its higher

away from dampness, heat and light.
Precautions & Warnings
Men continuing generic Proscar (Finasteride) therapy should not donate blood. They should also wait at least for 1 month to donate blood again after stopping the treatment. This precaution must be taken to avoid the risk of pregnant women receiving donated blood that has traces of Finasteride.
Consult your doctor regarding the restrictions
on food, beverages or activities during Proscar (Finasteride) treatment. The
medication may cause dizziness in patients. So, you must be extra careful while
getting up from a sitting or lying position to avoid a fall.
